Fetish Photographer Dirk Hooper Featured in Siberia Show

UTRECHT, THE NETHERLANDS, January 4, 2009 – The fifth annual fetish exhibition Siberia, Full Fetish with a Russian Flavor, will feature work by United States fantasy and fetish photographer Dirk Hooper. The event will be held in the Catacombs, Stadhuisburg 3, called the City Hall, on January 17, 2009. Siberia is organized by the Dutch Mistress Brigitte More and Cosmic Events. It is a real fetish event, with a blend of fetish art, the best Dutch DJ’s and top fetish celebrities.

“I’ve created my best work to date, specifically for this show,” said Dirk Hooper, “Over the past couple of months I’ve worked with some of my favorite past and present Toxic Goddess models to build the ten photo collection for this exhibition.” Being the only artist from the United States, Hooper replied, “It’s an honor to be invited to such a great show and represent the U.S.A. I’m thankful to be able to present my work to viewers from half a world away.”

Other artists who will show work at Siberia include Dutch fetish painter Wilhelmusvlug, Holland’s best known artist Henry Schneider, Didi Eggers, painter Pedro Konijn and sculptor Marco Beekhuizen. Dirk Hooper is a world renowned fantasy and fetish photographer, fine artist, graphic designer and writer whose work has been described as “forbidden tales to rival the likes of H.P. Lovecraft and the Marquis de Sade.” Dirk’s publishing credits include such diverse media as comic books, music CDs, art books and slick fetish magazines. He has also cultivated a reputation as a fine artist in established venues like the prestigious Fred Jones Jr. Art Museum and as an underground visionary in galleries like the Electric Chair, “the Dirty Show” in Detroit, and “Fetish Project” in Brussels, Belgium. Selected models will get an opportunity to work with renowned Sight Key Studios photographers Robert Henry and Dirk Hooper.

Interested models will get a profile page with your name, some modeling information and a link to your own online portfolio on the Beefboy Rants (www.thebeefboy.com), a website that gets 4 million hits a month and is seen around the world. Models will also get a set of highly-stylized glamour photos, fully worked, on a CD or DVD that they can use for their own portfolio. Models must be willing to travel to Sight Key Studios in Oklahoma City and sign a standard model release.
